Electrische Museumtramlijn Amsterdam

Amsterdam – Amstelveen-Bovenkerk

The trams of yesteryear are on the rails again! Electric trams once used in various Dutch cities and in Vienna are now running on a former local railway, following a beautiful trail through a nature-filled landscape. Monumental Haarlemmermeer station will immediately put you in the right mood. Ride alongside the Olympic Stadium, Amsterdamse Bos, old village Amstelveen, recreation lake De Poel to the terminus in Bovenkerk, then go back to the city – or stay longer and enjoy the surroundings.

All Sundays from April through October, every half hour between 11.00 and 17.30 hrs, plus Easter Monday and Pentacoste Monday.

On Sundays in July and August we also leave at 12.00 and 14.00 hrs for a ride through the city of Amsterdam, passing by Artis Zoo, Rembrandt square, Amstel river and Dam square, to name a few.
